We have a chance to influence our Congresswoman. Your voice (and eventually your vote) will matter. This has got to stop. It's insanity.

Yeah, and we just had a suicide (by gun) in our neighborhood last night, after a murder (also committed with a gun) a few months ago. Both victims women -- which makes me wonder about statistics. Is the stereotype that it is men and boys who usually shoot themselves & each other accurate? Or are women disproportionately victims?
We gotta do something.
I'm beginning to think that if the 2nd Amendment is all that stands between us and sanity, then we should just repeal the damn thing.
Here are a couple of interesting opinion articles on that here and here. I believe I'm correct in saying that the only amendment that was ever repealed was Prohibition, and it was done by a new amendment. If we were to re-constitute the second amendment, how should it read?
