I almost wrecked my car today on a very busy city street to capture this photo of another rainbow. Three rainbows in two days? How often does that happen?
And my friend Billie posted about the strange-looking sky yesterday. Here's what I saw:
A couple of good conversations and two good back-to-back meetings and I'm feeling better than last night. Thanks for listening.

Mamie, so many people have been talking about the odd and beautiful light on Wednesday. It's sort of amazing that so many folks saw that rainbow and noted it, and that the unusual light grabbed the attention of so many.
A photographer's dream!
I tried but couldn't capture the pure illumination that was occurring right behind our barn.
I like those silhouetted trees - quite stunning, like a pattern of lace in nature.
Billie, I was thinking the same thing yesterday about how many people saw rainbows on Wednesday. Seemed unusual, just like seeing three in two days!
Wish I could have completely captured the beauty also. Guess you have to be there.
I personally am taking it as a Very Good Omen for this new year. :)
And I take it as a good omen that your good omen comment was posted on 12:12....
I saw the odd color on Wed. but from home I couldn't see any rainbows. I'm jealous!
I love your photos, Mamie!
Thanks, Panda! I think I'm addicted to photographing the sky and clouds. And the sun. And water and trees. And rainbows.
